Prognosys Medical Systems

Founded in 2004, Prognosys Medical Systems designs and manufactures digital medical imaging equipment under the ProRad™ brand. Headquartered in Bengaluru, the company has grown from an importer and distributor of digital X-ray systems into a full-stack engineering and manufacturing organisation – developing radiology and fluoroscopy solutions for hospitals, clinics, field deployments, and veterinary globally.

In 2022, Molbio Diagnostics — a pioneer in point-of-care molecular diagnostics – became the majority stakeholder in Prognosys, combining radiology and molecular diagnostics to enable end-to-end disease screening at the point of care.

Prognosys holds ISO 13485, ISO 9001, and IS 7620 certifications, with products approved by the US FDA and CE. Its customers include Apollo Hospitals, AIIMS, Narayana Health, Max Healthcare, and the WHO.
