Mr. Krishna Prasad Vajapeyam
Founder and President Prognosys Medical Systems
Krishna Prasad Vajapeyam is an engineer from Bangalore University with a Master of Science degree from the United States. He began his illustrious business career 34 years ago and has since grown from a small distribution company in Bangalore to a globally recognised digital imaging technology company. He founded Prognosys Medical Systems in 2004 with a goal to develop technology solutions for medical imaging and digital health for point of care.
Mr. Sriram Natarajan
Chairman and CEO Molbio Diagnostics
Sriram Natarajan, a technocrat, is the founding Director and CEO of Molbio Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. He holds M.Sc. and M.Phil. degrees, four years of academic research experience, and 34 years of expertise developing, manufacturing, and marketing diagnostic devices and kits for global markets in both the private and government sectors. He founded Tulip group in 1989 and grew it to become the largest IVD reagent company in India and a significant player globally. He successfully exited Tulip in 2017 and founded Molbio diagnostics which focuses on taking modern diagnostic technologies to the point of care.
Dr. Chandrasekhar Nair
Director and CTO Molbio Diagnostics
Dr. Chandrasekhar Nair heads Bigtec Labs and serves as the Chief Technical Officer for Molbio Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd. He obtained his Bachelor’s, Master’s degrees in Chemical Engineering from BITS Pilani and a PhD in Bio-MEMS from VIT. He has extensive expertise in modelling bioprocesses, scaling them up, and commercializing bio and chemical processes. Over the past decade, his primary focus has been on developing rapid, portable, high-quality, and low-cost diagnostics that bring the power of a modern laboratory to the point of care.
